Quiet Mounds: heart game

flamingprick[So you fell asleep! It's okay, that happens. Everyone's gotta sleep, after all.
But what's important here is that, instead of waking up wherever you were, you will wake up in a rather dark hallway. There are no windows, so the only light comes from the occasional chandelier hanging down from the tall ceiling, casting long shadows that may look like they're moving if you catch them out of the corner of your eye.
Despite how long this hallway is, there are only five doors in total. Two on the left, two on the right, and one right at the end of the hallway. On the left there is a simple wooden door with '1-F' written on it, and a little further down is a sliding rice paper door. On the right there is a steel gate leading to what looks like a dark forest, and then further down is a wooden door with a cross on it. The door at the end of the hall looks like it's made of gold, and there is a bloody handprint on it.
The first four doors are unlocked, but the fifth can't be opened for the time being. You also can't go backwards down the hall, it will eventually end in a solid wall.
Where do you go?]

Date: 2018-02-18 04:56 am (UTC)But no really, the path goes on for a while, and eventually Kaiko will be able to hear the sound of two girls arguing. Or, well, one girl arguing and the other trying to placate the first.
If she keeps walking in that direction, she will eventually find the two girls in question. The black-haired one is the one arguing, and the blonde one is the nicer one.]
"This is taking forever! We need to use a tracker, or else we'll never find him!"
"But if we do, then 'he' might find us instead-"
"Don't worry about him! He won't hurt YOU anyway."
"Eeeeh?! Wh-why not?"
"I think you know why."

"It's some kind of puzzle, but we haven't figured it out yet. Moriyama is useless when it comes to thinking-"
"Uwaaaa, I'm sorry Kamiki-san! I tried, I really did!"
"-and now 'he' is following us around. So why don't you go be useful and figure out the candles? I doubt 'he' is looking for you yet, so you might be able to get away from here."

"That guy is somewhere else. 'He' is a really nasty demon who likes to destroy things and cause earthquakes. Trust me when I say you don't want to catch his attention. Am I right, Moriyama?"
[The blonde girl nods nervously.]
