Nope's Peak r2 - Day 5 - Sonia

[He'll lead Sonia away from the group and up to the first library. Mostly because he's looking for a little privacy and he remembers how comfy those beanbag chairs are.]

Here we are! Now, for that dare-

[He'll try to pull her with him as he flops down on a beanbag chair, aiming to pull her into his lap.]

[Hopefully the rooms are soundproofed, Rin would not survive being called out like that.

Everything's working against him here. The tug of his hair, the way Sonia trembles around him, the way she calls out his name like that, it's all too much. It's too much and a few moments later Rin is falling over that cliff too, hanging onto her tightly as he shudders to completion within her.

...he also might be biting down harder on her shoulder now too. He'll apologize for that later, promise. Right now he can't do much of anything except slump down against Sonia, because his mind is blank.

His tail does wrap around Sonia's leg, though. Like it wants to hold her close.]

[ Hopefully... or at least no one is around right now.

The bite growing harder makes her wince slightly, but she doesn't try and stop him either. It just makes her eyes open again, head tilting to peer at the side of his face. She feels dazed and foggy as well anyway, so it isn't like she's jumping at the chance to move yet. Not to mention, rather than pulling away she wants to curl closer as well.

His tail wrapping around her leg has a smile rising on her lips and she shifts enough to kiss his ear, nuzzling her nose and lips against the skin near there. ]

[Rin just feels all tingly and pleasant now. Even as he comes down from his orgasm and lets go of his tight grip on Sonia, he still wants to stay right there with her for a bit.

Well, cleanup first though. He sits up for a moment to pull out and take care of the condom, but as soon as that's tossed towards the trash can he's right back there curling up with her. Interestingly enough, his tail didn't let go of her that entire time either. It really does betray his feelings.

But when he settles back down there with Sonia, he finally notices the bite mark.]

Shit, did that hurt?

[He's running a thumb over it gently now, checking it over. That's probably deep enough to become a 'mashou', he realizes. It's a good thing there's no demons around here besides himself and Akira, that could get awkward.]

[assent]

[ She takes that moment as he moves around to reach down and finally gets to tug off her shoes, throwing them off the bed as well. Simply because having cuddles with them on is even weirder than what happened before.

She blinks at his question though, turning to look at her shoulder properly now that his face isn't buried there instead and ... ah. ]

It stings a little, but it is bearable.

[ She may have to take care of it anyway later, but the buzz is still coursing through her so that may be partly why she hasn't been hit with pain pain yet. ]

...And I like it, anyway.

It's gonna have some interesting consequences if you ever come to my world.

[But that's a problem for later. For now, he's going to kiss it softly before settling down next to Sonia, inviting her to curl up next to him too. They'll have to go back to the group eventually, it's way too early to actually sleep for the night, but he's not quite ready to go yet. Cuddling and talking is important to him.]

[assent]

[ She makes a small humming noise at the kiss to it, before twisting to curl up next to him. Or rather, hug onto him, really. ]

Why is that?

[That's fine, hugging onto each other can totally be a thing right now. And the nakedness isn't even that awkward, not after everything they just did.]

Normal people can't see demons. Or, well, they CAN, but the demons they see look like normal people. In my world, you would have seen me as a normal teenager with no extra body parts.

But when a human gets hurt by a demon, they can see demons after that. So if you go to my world now, you would see them how they're supposed to look..

[assent]

[ It's hard to find it awkward after all that, yes. ]

I understand. [ She pauses then, considers her words before saying: ] In that case... I am glad it was like this. That is to say... I would not wish to see you as anyone but who you are... ah, if that makes sense?

[It's...not what Rin was expecting to hear, but it's still very sweet. It brings a fond smile to his face, too. Sonia really is such a nice girl. He's so lucky to have her.]

It does, yeah. ...thanks for that.

[He's a little insecure about his appearances, so hearing encouraging words like that is nice.]

It might be a little scary to see everything at first, but I'll stay with you until you're comfortable around it. Most demons don't mean harm, they're just set in their own ways and have a temper.

[assent]

[ She has no idea about the insecurities, it's just her honest opinion on it--but more than that, the problem is more that he's automatically assuming she will go there. Or at least phrasing it like it. She can't force a smile without him seeing through it, so instead she shifts closer to slide her fingers against his shoulder, dragging them down along his arm. ]

And that's why you have a temper? [ One she is struggling to believe he has at this rate tbh, which is why this comes out more amused than it should. ]

[In his mind, it seems like the perfect solution. Sonia wouldn't have to get trapped by her life in her world, and since he has to go back to his to save it and all then maybe she could come with him. Or maybe she could come visit, if he wins 1st place. But either way, he likes the thought of seeing her again after this game is over. Even if it's just a sometimes thing and not every day, he still wants to see her. To make sure she's happy, wherever she ends up.]

I guess so. You know, kids called me a demon when I was little. They didn't know I actually was one, they just saw a normal human being. But whenever I got mad I would throw tables and punch people so hard it broke their ribs, and it was really scary for them. It's nice to know there's a reason why I'm like that, I guess.

[assent]

[ It is a good solution, if she wasn't being so stubborn about it. The reality is that it'd hurt a lot to be parted after all of this--even with people she considers as only friends and... not whatever this is. What lies she is telling herself, however, are blindsiding her a bit. ]

When was the last time you did that?

[flamingprick]

The last time?

[He has to think about that for a moment. He knows when the next time is- provided he doesn't have an outburst here- thanks to time bullshittery from the last time he was at this school, but when was the last time. He frowns thoughtfully as he considers it.]

...probably...that one time, when we had to...

[Now that frown is sad.]

When the three of us died. Me, Akira, and Ichigo. Right before that, I lost my temper at both of them for breaking those rules. I didn't hurt them then, but...

[assent]

[ The way his face shifts into a sad frown makes her shift her hand, reaching up to thread her fingers through his hair. ]

My apologies, you do not need to speak about it if you do not wish to. Especially merely for my curiosity.

[flamingprick]

[When he feels her hand there, he presses his head forward, letting his forehead rest against her shoulder. Then he just sighs.]

It's okay, you didn't know.

...I did come close to getting mad like that here, though. When I first met Yusuke. That one turned out better in the end.

[assent]

[ Her head tilts slightly, trying to peer at him but not stopping her hand in his hair. They're both pretty gross now but it's nice. Cuddling like this. It might be a bit of a difficult topic, but it's fine. It's comfy in a way. ]

...Are you the one who he got into fisticuffs with?

[ Fisticuffs... ]

[FISTICUFFS...

And Rin looks a little sheepish at that.]

Yeah, that was me. Sorry.

[They do have a shower there that they could clean up in though, since yeah they are pretty sweaty and gross.]

[assent]

[ FISTICUFFS... Yusuke's legacy tbh. ]

I see. Did you end up hurt as well?

[ What did they even fight over... boys pls.

And a shower will be great... eventually. ]

Not really. I have fast healing, so wounds don't really bother me much. I had my foot cut off once and it was completely healed within minutes.

[assent]

[ There is so much wrong with that sentence?????????????????

Why. Why are they both like this.

It means she stays quiet, frowning slightly as though she doesn't really know what to say (she doesn't). ]

[flamingprick]

[That. That pause probably isn't good.

Rin stumbles over his words for a moment as he tries to think of a way to explain that away.]

It's alright! It hurt at the time, but that was a while ago. Also I'll kick that guy's ass before I give him the chance to do that again.

[assent]

[ It is not a good pause, no. And despite him trying to reassure her, she still doesn't know how to respond so instead she curls her arm around him tighter, pressing closer to hug him. ]

...Of course. [ It comes out quiet and muffled though. ]

[Rin hugs onto her more tightly as well, trying to think of a way to explain it without sounding like he's reckless.]

It's...I don't go out looking to get hurt, I promise. Sometimes accidents happen, and it's just lucky I can heal from it. But I promise, I don't go out looking for trouble like that.

[Well, he doesn't go out looking to get hurt specifically. It's just one of the risks of his job.]

[assent]

[ It's warm like this, but also helps a little in cementing what he's saying. ]

Do not worry, I believe you. It is just... sad that it happens to begin with.

[ They don't sound like "accidents" that's why. ]

[They absolutely aren't 'accidents'.]

A little, I guess. But it's happening a lot less nowadays. I've gotten used to my strength, so I don't slip up as much anymore.

[Except for the times Yukio shot him in the head. But he's definitely not going to mention that.]
