Nope's Peak round 2 day 6: DATE with Sudoh

[Okay, this date is going to be a tough one, because how the hell do you go on a date in the nurse's office? Unless one of them is being nursed back to health, he's not even sure what to do. But he doesn't want it to be a crappy date either, Sudoh is his friend and he deserves a good date.]

[That sure is blue fire. Sudoh only pauses at the sight of it for a moment, though, clearly not too bothered by suddenly fire on his friend.]

[Reaching to... Cup his hands under it?? As if to pick it up.]

Yeah, go ahead and touch it. It won't burn you.

[As if Rin would let his fire burn his friends.]

I was already pretty sure of that part. You're way too sweet not to warn a guy if he's about to stick his hands in actual burny fire.

[Trying to pick it up as if holding water in his hands tho.]

Really not sure what to do with it, though...

[The fire will spread to his hands pretty easily. It's not a lot, but it feels warm and comforting, like curling up with a warm blanket right out of the dryer. It probably won't give him any energy, but it's pleasantly warm at least.]

[Sudoh cradles the little flame to his chest, expression shifting from a little unsure to extremely fond. He can tell, now, that he's not equipped to take whatever Rin is trying to give him, but he can appreciate the warmth, at least.]

Ah well. It was worth a try.

[The fire will dissipate after a few more seconds.]

Things have been pretty good in general. I like it here, mostly. The people are nice, even if the situation sucks.

[Folds his hands in his lap, a little anxious but going for it.]

That must be why you're so tired, then. It takes a lot of energy for demons to do that. Since you're a human, it's got to be even harder on you.

Yeah it's... been getting harder and harder, as time passes. And I accidentally gave someone else some energy yesterday, so... It got worse a little abruptly instead of smoothly.

You gave someone else some of your energy? How did you manage that?

Accident. He knows how to take it, but didn't realize I had any to give, so it was a pretty big surprise for both of us.

If he knows how to take energy, then can't he give it back?

I didn't ask. He needed it, anyway.

But it sounds like you need it too. If he can take energy then he should take some of mine, I have a lot of it.
