[ She doesn't ask about where they're going or anything like that, simply because she trusts him to not take her anywhere weird. ]

Yes, of co-- [ She doesn't get the full word out before she's yelping in surprise as she's getting tugged down onto his lap and in turn onto the beanbag chair. Her hand automatically grabs for his shoulder to balance herself, fingers digging in slightly.

If they had been close before, this takes the cake.

She tries to clear her throat, but her voice is still a little high. ] ...Of course.

[Well he's got his hands around her waist now, partially hugging her and partially holding her in place so she doesn't go toppling out of his lap. He looks absolutely satisfied with himself too, like he just got a big reward for doing a good job or something.]

Hmm, where to start...listing off all of Sonia's good traits would be a good place to start, I think. You might need a reminder or two of why you deserve a bit of selfishness every now and then.

[ It's really warm like this, and she's grateful for the fact that they're sitting down because otherwise he knees may have crumbled under her anyway if he's going to start doing this for real. ]

My... good traits?

[Yep, that's exactly why he brought her somewhere with comfy chairs.

Well, that and getting to hug Sonia. That is a part of this too.]

Mhmm~ You're a pretty talented person, did you know that? You're really good at talking with people. It's really easy to feel calm around you, because whenever you speak it's very calming. Oh, and your voice! It's really pretty. I could listen to you talk all day and never get tired of hearing it.

[ She may or may not be sinking further into him as he carries on speaking, actually. That’s also because her face is turning more and more red as time goes on. ] Does that mean I should keep speaking to you?

Usually yes, but right now it's my turn to talk.

[He's shifting his grip on her a bit so she can sink down more comfortably.]

You're really kind too. You're always looking out for others and making sure they're okay before worrying about yourself. It's not fake either, I can tell you're kind because that's the kind of person you are. You're kind right down to your soul. That's another thing that makes you special, most people aren't like that.

[ Her own hold shifts as well, though it's more like she's trusting him to hold her in place as her arms move, hands curling into his shirt instead now. Her head drops against his shoulder given the weird angle she's at, though it isn't like she's hiding away or anything--she just doesn't know how to cope with her heart hammering as hard as it is. ]

No one here is from my country, but that does not mean I would not wish to look out for them? [ Is that even it though... ]

You're kind to others too. You're looking out for the people here, aren't you? At the very least, you look out for Allen and me. And we're not from your country, so that shows that you care about everyone.

[He'll hold her up no problem. He's got the strength to do it without getting tired or anything. But while holding her, he can probably feel her pulse hammering away, which gets him to grin.]

I like how earnest you are too. Who knew that a few compliments could get you embarrassed like this~

[He's teasing a little, but he's saying it fondly too.]

[ She opens her mouth to protest, because in both their cases she might be being a little selfish already on her own. She probably shouldn't be singling either of them out. It's true that she's showed care for others as well though, her date with Sudoh was her keeping him company while he made something for Tatsuya, after all. Supporting him with it. ]

You realise that part of that is because you are the one saying it, yes?

[ Maybe her heart wouldn't be pounding quite as much if it wasn't him saying these things. ]

[Maybe. But that admission from her makes his own heartbeat pick up a bit too.]

Really? I'm glad, then. Being the one to make Sonia's heart go 'dokidoki' like that makes me feel special.

[And it's making his heart go 'dokidoki' too, it seems.]

[ Her smile softens at that, genuinely pleased. ]

You are special. Um... [ She shifts slightly more so she can half hug him like this, her arm curling around his side gently. ] Did you wish to continue the game?

[ Is that dare over??? ]

[Rin's tail betrays him there, because when Sonia calls him special the bit that's sticking out from the beanbag chair starts twitching happily.]

Well there's a lot more ways to be selfish for you besides complimenting you, but that's enough for one dare.

[The rest can be shown another time, or for another dare. Speaking of which...]

[Watch out, he has a mischievous grin on his face.]

[ His tail moving and showing his happiness catches her attention, and for a second she's distracted by that instead. ]

Ah... Very well. [ Yes, let her live this once. Though she may not be letting him live I guess. This is what you get for becoming too happy. ]

While the same rule may apply as last time... [ Her voice is quiet, though it isn't timid. It's more that she's trying to be cautious about this. ] ...may I touch your tail?

[ Given how serious he'd been about saying stop and everything she wants to make sure he knows she remembers that but... curiosity killed the cat I guess. ] Um... I can change it if it really bothers you, however.

[ That isn't how it works but w/e ]

[He does go a little pink at the suggestion. When Sonia suggests changing it, though, he quickly speaks up.]

I'm not bothered by it, no. It's just that...crap, how do I explain it?

[Especially since she actually touched his tail before, he's going to have to explain why it would be different this time.]

It's...sensitive. Sort of like someone's neck would be, I guess? [Which is something he found out recently THANKS ALLEN] So like, the situation matters. Normally someone touching your neck wouldn't be a big deal, but if they were doing it a certain way, or if it was during a 'private moment' or something, it'd feel different.

My tail's like that. So if you want to touch it you can, but things'll probably be different this time.

[Basically there's no way in hell he's not going to get worked up if she touches his tail right now. Which he wouldn't mind, honestly, but he feels like he should warn her. In case she doesn't want to do anything that intimate.]

[ She blinks at the colour on his cheeks, tilting her head to look at him more clearly. The thing is though, bringing up his neck has her eyes darting there and considering she's the reason he went through that (sorr...y... Rin........... ) she ends up blushing as well.

She'd watched part of it happening, after all. (Wonky timeline shenanigans waved off, that is) ]

[YEAH UH speaking of which? That bite mark Allen left on him is probably still there. So enjoy that. ~~He's technically making out with Allen too in another thread but TIME SHENANIGANS so no other marks for now.~~

And now that he explained it, and she's blushing, and she still wants to do it despite knowing what it does? Yeah, he's turning even redder and glancing away now. It looks like his previous bravery in regards to hugging her and 'being selfish for her' is starting to wane a bit. It's harder to do this kind of thing when he's the focus of it rather than the one doing stuff to someone else.]

Alright then, sure.

[His tail is still betraying him though, because it's wagging even faster now.]

[ She'll be getting one later, thankfully not yet because yes... time shenanigans.

It's cute how his bravado seems to shrink away though, even if she's nervous about this as well, she's secure enough in this to know it'll be fine. Everything will be fine.

If she can figure out how to touch it while it's wagging back and forth like that anyway. She ends up leaning over, pressing into him a bit as her fingers stretch out. She's overly cautious with it too, not wanting to accidentally smack him when he said it was sensitive.

She digs her teeth into her lip, just about managing to brush her fingers against his tail when it moves towards her hand, though it isn't like she's trying to catch it or anything at the moment. ]

[Good, because he's already starting to think about how her neck would look with marks on it and that's not helping at the moment. At all.

The tail slows when her fingers brush up against it, though. Rin isn't consciously controlling it, he rarely does as it works more on instinct or whatever. But that little touch, along with Sonia's shifting, is enough to get it to still for her. It's almost as if it knows what's about to happen.

Rin also draws in a breath and bites down on his lip in anticipation. He's had it toyed with before like this, he knows exactly how good it can feel. But somehow he gets the feeling that Sonia's touch would feel even better.]

[ Another time, then. They probably have time for that. Maybe.

She blinks when it slows for her though, her eyes flickering up to look at his face briefly as her fingertips gently curl around his tail. She's almost holding her breath as well, unsure of how she actually expects him to react when all she has to describe it is "sensitive".

Her touch, when she drags her hand down, is slow and careful. It actually feels really nice, strange but somehow comfortable at the same time? Like it doesn't even feel weird anymore. ]

Is this okay?

[At first it's not too different from the last time she touched his tail. He seems to relax quite a bit, sighing contently as his eyes slide shut. It might even look like he's falling asleep, except the blush on his face is spreading to his neck and his breath is picking up.

When Sonia speaks, he nods a few times before speaking.]

Yeah...that's pretty great actually.

[ She smiles at him when he speaks, and it's nothing like the fake smile he told her off for before. It's small, but genuine, warm and full of fluttery feelings. Butterflies, maybe, at the face that his skin is growing redder.

She doesn't really know what will feel nice for him, but she tries brushing her hand in different directions, still going slowly so she doesn't make either of them jump with this. ]

Good, I am glad.

[Going along with the fur seems to get the best reaction from him. Those ones leave him shivering and biting down on his lip to keep from making any embarrassing noises. He'snot telling her to stop, though. No, he likes this very much, so instead he just holds onto her and let's her continue to pay attention to his tail.]

You don't have to be gentle, I can handle it.

[She'll know right away if she is too rough anyway. Rin is not quiet when he gets hurt.]

[ Her eyes flicker across his face, teeth pulling her lip into her mouth as her hold shifts a little, the edges of her nails dragging down after. It shouldn't be enough to hurt because she's still being Wary, but as he said it was fine... She'll do this much first. ]

Like this...?

[Rin gasps at the contact, unable to hold back the noise. Then he promptly buries his face in Sonia's shoulder as he tries his best, but ultimately fails, to suppress a shudder that runs through his whole body. If Sonia looks, she will find that Rin's neck has gone an interesting shade of red too.

He can't even bring himself to speak right now, but that reaction probably speaks volumes anyway.]

[ That's a "yes", then. Her own breath hitches when he reacts so well to it, offering her shoulder and neck without any complaint, partly because it brings him closer to her as well.

And how could she not look when they're close like this now? Her hand keeps up the same pattern for now, more confident in the movements now he's reacting so well and holding back less.

Then, hesitantly, she leans to kiss his neck where the flush is. It may or may not be where Allen bit him earlier too. Her voice is quiet when she speaks this time, barely a whisper. ] You look... really good like this.

[ So good, apparently, that her chest feels tight, like her lungs and heart are going to explode right out of her chest. ]
